Eden Media

Have a look at the 15 minute video of the youth consultation which highlights young people’s views on Penrith New Squares. Using social media is a new and exciting approach.  In this instance, we produced a snapshot of views. However, with more buy-in and active involvement of young people, social media could be used to gather widespread opinions.  Let us know what you think of the video and feel free to say how you feel new media could be used in future to find out what young people think and feel about what happens in their local area. Additionally,  let us know if you want to participate as a social reporter, web designer or content editor. It’s fun, and a great way to help design and develop local channels of communication, so that all young people can voice their opinions about the things that matter to them. The Council will be discussing feedback from local people and will include this input in their discussions to determine the future of Penrith New Squares.  Many thanks to all those who took part.  Outcomes will be posted here and on the Council website  when a final decision has been taken
